A Very Merry Christmas - 2026 Planning…

It is officially Boxing Day, a day to take things a little more slowly after the big day. I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas (I hope you had a wonderful time!), and of course a very happy New Year too! For me, it is the latter that I love the most. That feeling of being able to start a fresh year, being excited for future plans and wanting to hit the ground running, there is nothing quite like it. I often spend that first weekend after New Year’s Day deep cleaning my home and removing the Christmas decorations. Then I think of my plans for the year.

For me personally, I don’t like to set resolutions. Instead I make a list of things I want to accomplish, basically a to do list for the year. I am specific with each task I want to complete and like to avoid being too vague in what I write on my list. This year I intend to focus on two things in particular ; my business and my wellness.

Wellness for me this year looks like, taking the time to read my collection of books on my shelves (and the few new ones I have purchased). I am a huge Sarah J Maas book lover, ACOTAR being my favourite. So, I have taken it upon myself to buy the next set from her - a 3 part series called Crescent City, with plans to read one each month at the start of 2026. Wellness also means exercising for one hour each morning before the day job, something I have been doing at the end of 2025 and want to continue on with as it sets me up so well for the day ahead. Finally incorporating more of my hobbies into my life next year too and to stop putting things off; horse riding, growing my garden and my business are top of that list!

don’t hold back in 2026, make your dreams a reality

2026 is the year of my business. I have spent 2025 growing my community, researching products and re-learning skills from when I previously had a creative studio in 2020, as well as growing my signature style.

For 2026, I plan to be intentional and focused with my to do list; this starts the year off with completing the new Immersion course by Bonnie Christine to fully relearn Adobe Illustrator and of course gain business knowledge and licensing knowledge. My shop will also be launching this year, with a selection of digital and physical products available - the date is set of February 1st!

I would like to be in FIVE shops with my wholesale collection by the end of Summer and have launched two more products in the Shop as well (more on that in the coming weeks). I also have a specific number in mind that I will have liked to have earned by the end of 2027. Now that I am starting to venture into turning my creativity into a business, I wanted to have targets in my mind to achieve to have something more specific to work towards. This is the main reason I don’t do resolutions and instead have my specific tasks to work towards and be able to actually tick off as accomplished (fingers crossed anyway!)

This is the year I push myself out of my comfort zone and say, others are doing it, so why can’t I?!

Let’s make this our best year yet & let’s grow together!
